PREPPIES ROOM (2 - 3 years)

Our staff who work with this group of children recognise that they are further developing self-confidence and a belief in themselves which should be encouraged. By allowing children to pour their own drinks, serve their own food, choose a story or water a plant, we are supporting children’s growing independence and confidence.

We ensure that children have lots of opportunities to join in and help them to understand that there are rules for being together with others, encouraging tolerance and talking about ways of avoiding harming or hurting others.

Activities planned follow children’s own interests, with daily opportunity for play with sand and water, role-play, physical play, books and being creative.
